Research Interests

My research is centered on the development of analytical strategies aimed at studying and preserving metallic heritage, with a specific focus on objects related to Science, Technology, and Industry, integrating both their tangible and intangible components. These strategies employ a range of analytical techniques, including X-ray and Raman spectroscopies, X-ray diffraction, and various microscopic methods.

This research benefits from an interdisciplinary approach with contributions from physics, materials science, conservation, and history, working together to deepen our understanding of cultural heritage.

Additionally, my research includes the exploration of novel conservation methodologies, such as innovative cleaning techniques, with the goal of identifying sustainable and eco-friendly solutions.
